Located near the Fairfax County Courthouse, my mission is to provide quality legal support and counsel to my clients. Typically, my practice involves disputes, which are within the jurisdiction of the Virginia Courts and the Federal District Court. This includes crimes (both white and blue collar) and civil issues such as broken contracts, landlord-tenant, and collection of unpaid debts as well as resolution of tax disputes.

• Resolution of Tax Disputes
  ------- v. Commissioner of IRS - A dispute involved taxability of income earned overseas by an airline pilot. IRS argued to the Tax Court that he was not entitled to exclusion of foreign earned income which resulted in a tax debt of $100,000. My client and I developed proof of facts which supported the exclusion and resolved the matter for $1,000.
  
• Defense of Criminal Allegations
  U.S. v. L---- - My client owned and operated and unlicensed money transmittal service to a foreign country. Law enforcement authorities seized operating funds and a grand jury indicted her for multiple crimes. My client pled guilty to a single violation, the U.S. Attorney's office returned $8,000 and a Judge fined her $500.
  
• Litigation of Contract Breaches
  Har--- v. Property Owner - The property Owner hired my client as superintendent of construction about the renovation of a large apartment complex. The first word of their homemade contract was WE, without further definition. We filed a mechanic's lien and a suit to enforce it. The parties resolved the dispute before trial.
  
• Advocacy of Stockholder Interests
  An--- Plumbing - This involved a hostile takeover of a family owned corporation which destroyed the family. Activities included research of corporate law, coordination with defense counsel, preparation of clients vis-a-vis board meetings, writing of State Corporation documents, and briefing of a bankruptcy lawyer.
  
• Planning and Incorporation of Business Activities
  This involves research of corporate law, preparation of clients vis-a-vis board meetings, and writing of State Corporation documents. Activities include preparation of corporate charters and by-laws and documents about limited liability companies.
  
• Counseling About Estate Administration
  Estate of Mor--- - a case involving a thirty year old will which was executed in another state, I qualified the representative, arranged transfer of assets to her, and successfully closed the Estate.
